Job Description:
A: Purpose and Scope
The Production Assembler is responsible for all aspects of switch production to ensure that quality switches are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
B: Responsibilities
The Production Assembler is responsible for riveting, ultra-sonic welding, assembly, contact setting (tweaking), eye letting, set point inspection, set point setting, drive screws, and establishing set point from nominal. The Production Assembler may also be called upon to assist in production of magnetic heads and to perform other duties and responsibilities as the Production Manager may require.
C: Organization Relationships
The Production Assembler reports to the Production Manager.
Job Requirements:
The Production Assembler must be able to work riveting machines, eye letting machines, a contact adjusting press, ultra-sonic welder, pneumatic screw driver, leak testers, magnahelic meters, manometers, OHM meters, ink jet printer, auto bagger and various hard arbor presses.
